Congratulations to 2024 North Central Region NATSAA Winner
Soprano Sonia Grimsled has performed in a variety of classical and contemporary music styles with organizations across the Midwest, the Pacific Northwest, as well as in France. Favorite roles include Franca Naccarelli in Adam Guettel’s The Light in the Piazza, Maman in Maurice Ravel’s L’enfant et les sortilèges, Antonia in Offenbach’s The Tales of Hoffman, and Countess Almaviva in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro. Grimsled lives in central Wisconsin and was recently appointed as lecturer/instructor for the prestigious BFA Musical Theatre program at UW-Stevens Point. She is a NATS member and runs a thriving independent studio through Noteworthy Music Conservatory. Grimsled holds a Master of Music in Voice Performance from the University of Oregon and a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from UW-Stevens Point.
